Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Duties:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing routine GI procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and potential risks
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Valid nursing license in the State of Alabama
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, ASC or critical care setting
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to insert and manage intravenous (IV) lines
- Familiarity with medical coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Competent in medication administration and monitoring patient responses
