Job Summary: The Imagery Analyst serves as subject matter expertise on imagery analysis for the Analysis Division. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR: Production Statistics, Briefings, VTC, Telecon, Tipper Reports, PowerPoint presentations, assessments, and other products for internal and external customers. Essential Functions: * Serves as subject matter expertise on imagery analysis for the Analysis Division. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR: Production Statistics, Briefings, VTC, Telecon, Tipper Reports, PowerPoint presentations, assessments, and other products for internal and external customers.
* Develops relationships with imagery analysts who directly support the AFCENT mission at key intelligence community agencies..
* Attends information, collaboration, and intelligence meetings including VTC/Telecons as required and prepares/presents PowerPoint presentations as tasked. Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR: Meeting notes/summaries, Pre and/or post meeting briefings.
* Ensures all intelligence data is properly disseminated using existing Knowledge Management practices, throughout CJTF-OIR and national level agencies throughout the CJOA. Publishes reports and disseminates via email, web portals, or other appropriate methods as tasked.
* Assists with resolution on difficult and complex analytical problems by researching, developing and producing at the operational and strategic levels to leadership.
* Coordinates with the AFCENT collection management team on imagery-related collection management issues..
* Maintains currency on tools used to retrieve, edit and display imagery for use by the Analysis Division.
* Supports assessments for contingency planning as required.
* Performs daily reviews and analysis of all-source reporting.
* Drafts daily/weekly intelligence summaries of adversary activities for 9 AF (USAFCENT) to distribute to national, tactical and strategic customers
* Assists in development and review of CFACC's prioritized intelligence requirements and corresponding intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance collection requirements in support of current operations and contingency planning.
* Provides expert analytic support to 9 AF (USAFCENT) planning, authoring, reviewing, prioritized intelligence and production requirements, intelligence estimates, and annexes and appendices.
* As directed, leverages all formal and informal analytic exchanges, as well as training opportunities, in order to foster peer-to-peer collaboration, ensure thorough vetting of products, and deliberately pursue/maintain acuity on essential elements of tradecraft.
* Supports other Analytical related duties as required.
Knowledge Skills and Experience: * Minimum of 5+ years experience as an imagery analyst.
* 4+ years' analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies
* Former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent such as USMC - 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy - Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF -1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 1N0X1 All Source Intelligence Analyst
* Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
* Familiar with and capable of using social media platforms
* Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team in support of CJOA requirements
* Open Source (OS) 1 training and Introduction to Middle East Cultural Study (Computer Based Training Course) required. If not completed previously, must be completed three months after employment start. Cost will be covered by 9 AF (USAFCENT)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong briefing skills with experience at the O-6 level
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* High level of self-motivation, productiveness and personal organization
* Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS for short TDY assignments
* Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Education: * Associate's degree. 4 years experience may be substituted for degree.
Position Requirements Essential Functions: * Employs standard commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) softcopy imagery applications to accomplish exploitation of FMV, electro-optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) and Infra-red (IR) imagery
* Reports exploitation results via voice and textual reports IAW mission reporting reporting requirements based on Essential Elements of Information (EEI) to support Indications and Warning, current intelligence and battle damage assessment requirements.
Knowledge Skills and Experience: * Associate's Degree
* 6 years of FMV and imagery analysis experience may be substituted for a degree
* 4 years experience with imagery analysis and be a graduate of a US Military Imagery Analysis AFSC/MOS/NEC awarding course
* Ability to work rotating shifts
* Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
