Description:Our client is seeking an experienced professional to become their next Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility in Northern California.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership: Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives, and train a mainly Spanish-speaking workforce.Safety Culture Champion: Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.Regulatory Compliance Expert: Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.Hazard Assessment Pro: Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.Training Guru: Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.Injury Management Leader: Support Workers Compensation claims management, investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures.What You Bring:Education: Bachelor s degree in Occupational Safety or related field.Experience: 5 years in Environmental Health and Safety, with 3 years minimum in manufacturing (food manufacturing experience is a plus).Certifications: Strong OSHA and Cal-OSHA experience (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus).Bonus Points: Environmental compliance expertise (EPA, HAZMAT) and proficiency in EHS Management software..
