Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.



Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
  • Develop and implement quality control/assurance guidelines for GIS projects
  • Compile and integrate geographic data from a variety of sources
  • Provide technical user support for all aspects of geospatial data and software
  • Develop and document functional specifications and coordinate testing and integration of development activities
  • Support implementation and configuration for new and existing GIS systems that meet solution requirements
  • Work in collaboration with stakeholders to support projects and ensure project methods, approaches, and control standards are met
  • Communicate with senior managers to understand the goals and outcomes to be achieved through the application technology


Qualifications



    • Demonstrated GIS project success
    • BS or MS Degree in GIS or Computer Science Field
    • 3-5 years experience
    • Demonstrated project work with Esri’s ArcGIS Pro
    • Demonstrated work with ArcGIS Pro editing tools and Esri versioning (Branch and Traditional)
    • Knowledge of Python – analyst level
    • Demonstrated work with Esri’s ArcGIS Online
    • Writing skills and sample client deliverables
    • Knowledge of Esri Task Environment
    • Familiar with tax mapping, infrastructure mapping, and public safety
    • Knowledge and application of 3D GIS

    -We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment

    -Compensation: Minimum: $62,000 - Maximum: $72,000

    The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.

    - The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
