We are an elite, dynamic Periodontal surgery practice that is committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and first-class service to referring providers. We are looking to add an outgoing individual who is passionate about providing premier customer service. The successful candidate will be a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player who will enhance the growth of our practice while providing an outstanding patient experience.

The primary role of the Scheduling Coordinator is to support the practice in meeting our goals to provide optimal clinical outcomes and exceed the expectations of our patients. Scheduling Coordinators at our practice welcome patients, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, collect patient financial responsibility and review patient records and referral documentation.

This is a hourly (non-production based) position and can be full-time or part-time based on the preference of the successful candidate.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide concierge level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication
  • Greet patients and visitors immediately upon arrival with a friendly demeanor
  • Answer the phone promptly with a smile
  • Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of treatment rooms
  • Review and maintain the daily schedule
  • Review and maintain accurate information on patient records
  • Assist patients as necessary
  • Maintain reception area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Maintain professional relationship with referring offices
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year in a customer service setting preferred
