Job Description: Manager of People Services
The Staff Pad has partnered with a client in Montana who has a vision to be the gold standard for Healthcare. We are searching for a Manager of People Services whose vision aligns with that. This role demands a deep understanding of national trends and best practices in employee experience and core functions, applying this knowledge to benefit the organization. The Manager anticipates necessary changes to achieve the vision and guides transformational efforts in a systematic and inspiring manner. Their expertise aligns People Services with the organization’s strategic priorities, fostering highly collaborative and engaged partnerships with stakeholders, including internal team colleagues, caregivers, providers, and leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Workforce Management
- Develop and implement employee performance measurements and training programs.
- Facilitate change management initiatives and review development programs to align with SPH goals.
- Build human capital and foster a strong employee development culture.
- Assess and enhance leadership, team development, and organizational communication programs.
Leadership Development
- Create and implement a leadership development strategy aligned with business imperatives.
- Design frameworks for skills and leadership capabilities.
- Align training, coaching, and development programs with leadership strategies.
- Conduct succession planning and talent assessments for critical roles.
Human Resources Operations
- Manage HR operational processes and streamline core procedures.
- Oversee employee data management ensuring data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Evaluate, select, and manage HR outsourcing vendors and contracts.
Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Oversee HR Information Systems (HRIS) and implement software/hardware requirements.
- Maintain internal database files and develop custom reports.
- Provide necessary training for end users.
Culture and Wellness
- Promote a culture of health and wellness through innovative People Services programs.
- Implement People Services initiatives aligned with SPH vision and strategies.
- Manage project timelines related to People Services advancements.
- Facilitate internal communications and oversee talent acquisition policies.
Leadership
- Lead and support all teams under the People Services umbrella.
- Conduct team evaluations and foster team development and growth.
- Oversee process improvements and departmental operations.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate with and inform the VP of People Services.
- Participate in the SPH Leadership Team and manage vendor relationships for People Services platforms.
Community Engagement
- Promote SPH as the employer of choice in Helena.
- Build and maintain client relationships and oversee client relations for People Services.
- Coordinate screening events with key stakeholders.
Compliance
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate training and development programs with the clinical education team.
- Work with the IT department on system integrations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Learning & Development, HR Operations, with management or consulting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience focused on talent acquisition and onboarding.
Education
- High School Diploma, HiSET, or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Licenses/Certifications
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
