Summary:
-
Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual operations.

Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
-
Read, comprehend, and follow technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications in English.

Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications.
-
Install various aircraft system components, including panels.
-
Operate mechanical lifts (e.g., ladders, tiger lifts, snorkel lifts).
-
Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.
-
Work in confined spaces with associated training and certification.
-
Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.
-
Perform bond and ground measurements.
-
Conduct in-tank sealing and structural work in fuel tanks.
-
Wash fuel tanks and perform rework as needed.
-
Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school or associate degree is a plus.

6+ months using software applications (internet, email, Microsoft Suite, or other specialized tools).

6+ months following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English.

6+ months in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical environment using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

6+ months applying chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.

Work in confined spaces with proper training and certification.

Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

Perform tasks including kneeling, bending, reaching overhead, twisting, standing, walking, climbing/balancing, crawling, and crouching.

Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
