What Does An American Augers Shipping Technician Do:
Responsible for shipping of all materials, parts and equipment in accordance with American Augers Work Orders or Sales Orders Instructions including but not limited to:
- Insure correct products are pulled from stock and properly tag all items with AA part numbers
- Help load materials into trucks and containers securely and safely
- Final check to see that all Shipments meet the highest quality standards.
- Shipping Documentation as required, Bill of Lading, International Documentation
- Responsible for Receiving of all materials, parts, containers, supplies, returned goods and equipment in accordance with American Augers Department work Instructions including but not limited to:
- Responsible to maintain and organize the warehouse and yard of parts, materials and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Elements We Look For:
- Computer knowledge necessary includes Microsoft Applications, SAP, and Shippers programs.
- 1-2 years of warehouse-material handling experience including forklift operation.
- Ability to work on your feet and lift weights of up to 75 pounds.
- Knowledge of inventory and tracking systems.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Detail orientation, industrious, positive attitude, good judgment, reasoning, and dependability.
