Department Description: We support families through pregnancy, postpartum and the early childhood years until age 6 in families without medical concerns and up to age 18 in families with children who have medical conditions requiring skilled nursing care. Our nurses and family support workers focus on prevention and early intervention, collaborating with numerous community service providers, identifying and addressing developmental challenges and/or psycho-social concerns. We offer individualized self-care and parenting assessment, education and support; childbirth preparation and lactation support; developmental and play support to maximize each family's physical, social and emotional strengths. We provide skilled nursing services for pregnant/postpartum women with higher risk pregnancies due to medical, psychiatric and/or substance use disorder diagnoses; children up to 18 years of age with a medical diagnosis, including emotional adjustment support to children, their families and their care providers.Requirements:
  • Minimum one to two years of directly related parental/child health nursing and human services experience
  • Previous home care parental child health nursing desired but not required. We are willing to train and develop a candidate who demonstrates a willingness and desire to learn home health nursing.
  • Central Line experience preferred.On-call: Rotating weekends (approximately every 4 weeks) and holidays.Incentives: $10,000 Sign On Bonus for external applicants!
