Are you a dedicated and experienced nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity as a Nursing Supervisor? The Village at Morrisons Cove, continuing care retirement community in Martinsburg, PA is currently seeking passionate individual to join our team.
Overview:
We are looking for a Nursing Supervisor to oversee the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of patient care and providing leadership to our nursing staff.
* Duties:
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care
- Monitor patient care plans and ensure adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care programs
- Supervise medication administration and treatments
- Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Conduct regular patient assessments and address any concerns promptly
- Provide training to nursing staff on medical procedures and best practices
* Communicate with families and medical practitioners
* Communicate with local referral sources
* Attend committee meetings as assigned
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania nursing license (RN) in good standing
- Previous experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
This is a full or part time 2nd shift position and is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. It requires every other weekend and holiday. NO ON CALL.
