Job Purpose and Function
This position is responsible for the effective management of corporate compliance, maintenance services, and replacement capital. This position ensures that all TWGI owned petroleum systems remain in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws and remain fully functional. The incumbent will supervise all maintenance needed for the proper operation of the company's physical facilities and support all services in support of their continuous operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities to guarantee the proper functioning and continuous operation of the company’s facilities.
Coordinating with marketing team to verify the scope of work is properly identified, developing the proper scope of work, reviewing bids and proposals, selecting, tracking, and supervising outside vendors and contractors, and minimizing the adverse impact of the work on customers and sales.
Ensures all contractors are qualified to perform the requested work and will follow up to administer and manage all monthly maintenance contracts (i.e.: HVAC, food/refrigerated equipment, and petroleum equipment maintenance contracts).
Coordinate and collaborate with Marketing, Construction Project Manager(s), and Compliance and Environmental teams as necessary.
Provide creative solutions for the procurement of store utility needs by analyzing opportunities for cost savings in the marketplace, including the purchase of consolidated electrical power supply contract, waste management services, and other related utilities.
Negotiate, coordinate, supervise, and issue service contracts to equipment maintenance vendors as recommended by the Manager of Maintenance & Facilities, including monthly petroleum equipment maintenance contracts and store equipment service contracts.
Provide support for all major capital construction/remodelling projects as required; including coordination with the Construction Project Manager and the Manager of Compliance and Environmental to assist with EPOS, network communication, petroleum equipment starts up, and other related items.
Provide yearly budget plans for the fixed-variable expenses related to equipment maintenance and general retail repairs.
Responsible for tracking and analyzing variations in the actual expenses versus the plan. It is critical to communicate all budget related issues and provide suggestions to the business unit executives.
Identify recommendations for improvement in company practices and programs, to ensure the company meets all environmental compliance standards. As part of this responsibility, the incumbent communicates on new developments in this field, and assists in training of personnel on environmental matters.
Support, analyze, and recommend solutions critical to the success of special projects. These types of projects include acquisitions, system wide technology updates (i.e. PCI, EPOS updates, etc.), product changes (i.e. ULSD, E-10, etc.), and other industry related requirements.
Recommends solid, reputable, contractors/vendors who perform quality, timely, and cost-effective work on corporate maintenance and compliance. The incumbent will evaluate the contractor’s performance to ensure the company receives the best performance for the best cost.
Represent the Wills Group at industry committees and participate in industry-related organizations to research best practices.
Ensures company compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines; design corporate policy recommendations as required.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Industrial Management, or related degree in a technical or environmental discipline.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental management, retail and/or commercial facility maintenance management
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
Maintenance software experience preferred.
Proven knowledge of food service equipment, as well as mechanical and refrigeration systems
Knowledge of petroleum equipment, building and fire codes and specifications, facility equipment, environmental regulations, compliance requirements, local health department regulations, and stormwater management.
Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship or C2C opportunities not available at this time).
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

An ideal candidate will also have
MDE Inspector’s Certification, Underground Storage Tank Operator A/B Certification, OSHA 30 Certification preferred. On the job training may be provided to qualified candidate to achieve preferred certificates.

Availability and Travel
This is a hybrid role and will require a minimum of 2 days in the office, including Tuesday and Thursday, with the remainder remote; our core operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST.
Weekend or evening work may be required depending on regulatory or time sensitive internal issues.
This role may require occasional travel, including overnight stays for troubleshooting, training, conferences, or other events with reimbursement available for approved accommodation and/or expenses.
