Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), Project Manager Cyber, Test, and Training (PM CT2). The position requires at least 7 years' of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience. Worksite details: Hybrid work schedule requiring onsite work 2-3 days per week in Orlando, FL. Job Duties: Develop, update, and maintain Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Program Office Estimates (POEs), Contract Proposal documentation, and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
Support the development of Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARD).
Evaluate contractor cost data to include Earned Value and Cost Performance Reports.
Conduct monthly and quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLSs submitted to industry partners.
Provide analytical support for various program controls and reporting. Provide input to financial execution and budget related actions as needed.
Defend cost estimating methodologies to DASA-CE and other organizations or industry partners.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have 7 years of experience in cost analysis/estimating.
24 semester hours of quantitative course work (math, statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry, etc) to include 3 hours of college level calculus.
Proficient in cost estimating software (ACEIT, PRICE TruePlanning, etc).
Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
Experience in an ACAT 1 or ACAT 1e level cost analysis /estimating
Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework pathways
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to cost estimating
Familiar with Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) background
Familiar with Work Breakdown (WBS) development with MIL-STD-881
Experience with proposal analysis and preparing cost-related CDRLs.
Education: BA/BS degree required, preferable in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or the Sciences. Software: Proficient in cost estimating software (ACEIT, PRICE TruePlanning, etc).
