Titania Solutions Group (Titania), is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to fill a critical position on the Landmark AOS located in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program that supports the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), which is responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle. As the Modeling and Simulation Engineer you will provide specialized engineering expertise supporting the acquisition of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software services. You will also assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise.
Schedule: FT on site in Chantilly, VA, in a SCIF *** Must have an active TS/SCI w/Poly *** Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and 5 years total experience (or an MS degree and 3 years) Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Practical understanding of space and/or ground systems, hardware, software, operations, and their interdependence.
• Experience using one or more of the following: AFSIM, C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK.
• Engineering analysis (collecting, organizing, analyzing data) experience.
• Excellent communication skills that will allow the presentation of findings to internal and external customers.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Job Responsibilities to include: • Use and develop cutting-edge mod / sim tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues regarding automation across the intelligence cycle for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD).
• Strategize with government, SETA, and industry partners to conceptualize and prove out a future ground architecture to drive the customer's new space architecture.
• Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop model/simulation requirements.
• Develop code / scripts to develop algorithms, perform analyses, and automate data processing to model operational scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.
• Work in a collaborative team environment studying and analyzing a wide variety of interesting and complex problems across multiple intelligence domains.
• Apply Digital Engineering concepts, processes, and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, situational awareness, etc.).
• Support and deliver capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
• Perform technical review and assessment of concepts, systems, technologies, designs, architectures, interfaces, and operation of space and ground systems.
• Participate in and contribute to technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer.
• Work side-by-side with the other LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of world class System Engineers, Acquisition Engineers, and Domain Experts to lead the customer in acquiring modern processing applications.
