Overview: Job Title: Materials Program Manager Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Responsibilities: Trace Systems is seeking a Materials Program Manager to support our on-site team based in Colorado Springs, CO. The Materials Program Manager will be responsibe for ensuring that sustainment and tech insertion solutions are interoperable, functional, and cost-effective on all deployable SATCOM and baseband suites. Responsibilities include: * Oversee the design, functionality, effectiveness, interoperability, and sustainability of material investments in the pursuit of efficient maintenance and technology insertions to achieve the customer mission. * Consistently provide project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. * Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout analysis of each technical solution. * Research and Procure deployable SATCOM solutions and systems in accordance with unique customer requirements. * Develop Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) estimates for contract. * Thoroughly document Bills of Materials, Purchase Reqests and Purchase Orders. * Identify and communicate issues and risks to the Government customer and offer recommendations on how issues and risks should be mitigated to successfully satisfy user requirements. * Assist Program Manager as required. Salary Minimum: $118,000 Salary Maximum: $130,000 The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Minimum Qualifications: * An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance * Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required . * 5 years experience with Satellite Communications and IT (SATCOM and IT) * Current DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification Desired Qualifications: * Project Management/Procurement Experience * Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals and groups * Demonstrated analytical problem solver with strong computer skills * Attention to detail * Excellent oral, written and presentation skills * Ability to defend ideas/point of views to clients, team members and government leaders * A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view * Exhibits mature organizational and time management skills * Accomplishes tasks with minimal supervision * Strong Leadership skills Education: * Bachelors Degree in technical or related field Trace Systems Trace Systems Inc. was founded to support and defend our nation's security interests at home and abroad-- whenever and wherever.
