Overview: Job Title: Integration Technician Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Job Responsibilities: Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Integration Technician to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting all integration requirements associated with various satellite communications terminal upgrades and modifications. Responsibilities include: * Perform high quality integration of various electronic communications components into equipment racks and transit cases. * Familiar with Satellite Modems, Redundancy Switch, associated cables, and interconnects; Up Converters, Redundancy Switch; Down Converters, High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Low Noise Block (LNB); Waveguide (rigid, flex, and elliptical) joints and connections; Intermediate Frequency (IF) cable and connections; Antenna, Antenna motors, Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA), Antenna Control Unit (ACU), and associated cabling and interconnects; Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). * Manufacture cables and wiring harnesses to support integration activities. * Experience using standard Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) equipment, power meter, spectrum analyzer, firebird, voltmeter, etc. * Develop and update drawing packages associated with all integrated equipment projects. * Provide weekly status reports to Program and Project Managers as directed. * Develop and maintain Bills of Material and equipment lists to support various types of projects. * Ability to travel 10% both CONUS and OCONUS to support missions. Minimum Qualifications: * Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable). * Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required. * Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the relevant field * Minimum of two (2) years of experience in support of installations, repair, troubleshooting or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment. * Ability to lift 25 lbs. Desired Qualifications: * Experience in creating and updating drawing packages. * Installing hardware and software and other infrastructure evolutions Education: * High School Degree (or equivalent) and four (4) additional years' experience or advanced certification.
