TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Rome, NY.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3pm - 7pm Start time, 10-12 hour days

• Pay:  $307.69 Per day, + $2,000 Sign-on Bonus, $1,438 - $1,538 Estimated weekly pay

• Route Type: Local deliveries to NY & MA

• Freight / Load Type: Miscellaneous freight

• Equipment: Automatic Freightliners

• Handling: No touch

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A 

• Experience: 5+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Hazmat, Doubles & Triples 

• Equipment Experience: Hazmat & Doubles Experience Required

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks 

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
