Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for providing mental health services to our residential and outpatient clients, including 1:1, Diagnostic Assessments, Facilitating groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Must adhere to all policies & procedures while performing duties..
Assist Alcohol and Drug Counselors in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems.
Work with clinical team to treat and manage clients with chronic emotional and/or health problems efficiently and effectively.
Participate in clinical staffing
Assist in detection of at-risk patients and development of plans to prevent further psychological or physical deterioration.
Evaluate client care plans with clinical team.
Teach clients, families, and staff about care, prevention and treatment enhancement techniques.
