TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing wealth management firm to hire a Benefits Analyst responsible for the administration, optimization, and financial integrity of a comprehensive employee benefits program supporting a large and scaling workforce. This role serves as a subject matter expert across benefits operations, vendor management, financial reconciliation, and Workday Benefits administration.
Responsibilities
Administer health & welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs
Manage full benefits lifecycle events including eligibility, enrollment, changes, terminations, and audits
Configure, test, and maintain benefit plans in Workday Benefits
Serve as escalation point for complex employee benefits issues
Manage vendor relationships with carriers, TPAs, and brokers
Resolve eligibility, billing, and service issues with external vendors
Support renewals, plan changes, and vendor performance reviews
Own monthly self-billed and fully insured invoice reconciliation
Partner with Payroll and Finance to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate GL accounting
Track adjustments, credits, and retroactivity; maintain audit-ready documentation
Support ACA, COBRA, 401(k), and other compliance and audit requirements
Conduct benefits reporting and analysis using Workday and Excel
Identify trends in cost, utilization, and enrollment to support decision-making
Partner cross-functionally with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and HR teams
Support open enrollment planning, testing, communications, and reconciliation
Drive process improvements and support benefits operations efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience administering complex employee benefits programs
Hands-on experience with Workday Benefits configuration and administration
Strong experience managing vendor relationships (carriers, TPAs, brokers)
Experience with self-billing and invoice reconciliation
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with large or multi-state populations preferred
Exposure to self-funded plans, renewals, or implementations preferred
CBP, CEBS, or related certifications preferred
