Regional Electromechanical Engineer – Southwest Region (Tuscon, AZ hub)
TRC’s client, a leading provider of electromechanical and power management services, has a Direct Hire opportunity for a Regional Engineer supporting the Southwest region (Tucson, AZ hub).
This role will provide technical leadership across multiple service centers, helping standardize processes, improve repair quality, and support complex motor and generator projects.
What You’ll Do
Provide technical leadership across motor repair, field service, and distribution operations
Develop and standardize repair procedures, specs, and work instructions
Support AC/DC motor and generator troubleshooting, repair, and reverse engineering
Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, NEMA, API, etc.)
Lead technical training and skill assessments across service centers
Partner with operations to improve processes, quality, and efficiency
Evaluate new technologies to support growth and service expansion
Provide hands-on support for complex customer issues and repairs

What They’re Looking For
EExperience with AC/DC motors and generators (repair, rewind, troubleshooting)
Strong knowledge of:
High voltage motors & testing (hipot, partial discharge, EL-CID, etc.)
Insulation systems, coil design, and winding
IEEE / NEMA standards
Experience in industries like petrochemical, mining, marine, or heavy industrial
Comfortable working across multiple sites + travel required
