Power Coating

TRC Talent Solutions is looking for Powder Coater for our client in Milner, GA

Applies power coating material/paint utilizing a spray gun technique to a variety of surfaces.  Pre-loaded parts circulate through their designated paint booth on a conveyor line for application.

Shift: M-F 6:30am - 4:00pm
Pay: 14.00 - 18.00/hr. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Applying appropriate powder application to hanging parts.   
• Maintaining and clean assigned powered gun. 
• Wear standard issued PPE, to include paint suit, paint hood and breathing apparatus. 
• Support Powder Lead with paint change, booth, and powder room cleanup. 
• Perform color change if Powder Lead is not available.  
• Good understanding of quality control principles. 
• Discuss paint defects from prior day and implement corrective actions. 
• Repetitive standing, bending, reaching and arm monition. 
• Maintain line safety in accordance with company policies.  
• Notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues. 
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day. 
• No Cell phones allowed in powder rooms or paint booths. 
• Start and Stop line if necessary.   

Preferred Skills:

• Previous painter experience required 
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
