We are currently partnering with one of the largest and fastest-growing wealth management firms in the United States to identify an Operations Processing Specialist for a direct-hire opportunity.

Summary

The Operations Processing Specialist plays a key role in supporting independent financial advisors and internal operations teams through the processing of client account documentation and service requests. This position supports advisor transitions, account onboarding, account maintenance, and day-to-day brokerage operations within a fast-paced financial services environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service while ensuring accuracy and compliance across operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process account opening, maintenance, representative change, and advisor transition paperwork

  • Support independent financial advisors with timely and accurate operational assistance

  • Review, process, and follow up on brokerage and non-brokerage account requests

  • Serve as a resource for brokerage operations processes and procedures

  • Coordinate with clearing firms and internal departments to resolve account-related issues

  • Update workflow systems and maintain accurate documentation

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls while documenting client and advisor interactions

  • Assist with account onboarding and ongoing account servicing activities

  • Cross-train across operational functions and provide support during peak volume periods

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, compliance, and client service

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of related operations, client service, or financial services experience

  • Financial services industry experience preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to learn and navigate brokerage and operational platforms

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
