TRC’s client, a leading General Contractor specializing in commercial construction, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in the Dallas, TX area.

Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations, while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and owners.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
• Drive and maintain the change management process, including documentation, communication, tracking, and execution of subcontractor changes
• Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash flow, and pay applications (owner and subcontractor)
• Support and help lead preconstruction efforts, including subcontractor buyout, purchase orders, scheduling, and job cost setup
• Participate in estimating and preconstruction activities, including scope reviews, bid day support, and development of conceptual and schematic budgets
• Develop, maintain, and actively manage project schedules; identify critical path items and proactively mitigate risks and delays
• Evaluate project plans to determine staffing, resource allocation, timelines, and execution strategy
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers; provide direction, accountability, and performance feedback
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and effective issue resolution
• Ensure alignment with company standards related to safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Communicate and reinforce company vision, mission, and values across project teams
• Travel as needed based on project requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4–7 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and contract management
• Experience working on projects within relevant markets (commercial, industrial, or similar) preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and communicate effectively with diverse
