Job Summary and Qualifications 

This is 36 bed high acuity unit that cares for a variety of surgical patients form general surgery, gastrointestinal, head/neck, and vascular. This unit develops nurses to have broad range of knowledge, become experts in post-op, recovery, and master all nursing skills. 

The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.? 

What you will do in this role:? 

• As Med-Surg RN, you will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. 

• In this role, you will use therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment. 

• You will identify nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. 

• You will plan individualized patient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. 

• You will participate in performance improvement activities. 

• You will provide care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement.? 

?What qualifications you will need:?? 

• ?Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing? 

• Current RN licensure 

• 1 year clinical experience preferred? 

• CPR certificate?
