Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be comfortable titrating heparin drips. - RNs are expected to attempt IV starts and use unit resources if unsuccessful.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 1yr+ of hospital experience

Special Requests: - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Requirement: RNs work every other weekend - Sat/Sun(days) & Fri/Sat (nights). - Holiday rotation per policy. - Call is not required. - Travelers may collaborate with unit leadership for additional scheduling preferences.

Floating Requirements: - Travel RNs are first to float to other units as needed.

Required Credentials: - Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months

1 Any reference from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
