Neuro Med-Surg Acute - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit.
• RNs required to titrate drips: Heparin titrated drip based on PTT- must have heparin gtt experience.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday, Saturday and Sunday are considered the weekend both shifts.

Floating Requirements: Float in rotation with rest of staff. General unit traveler floats to general unit floor - takes full team. If floated outside of general unit, in case of urgent need, would only do skills competent to do & be assigned with a nurse trained for that particular unit.

Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months

1 Any reference from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
