Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

• BSN completion preferred

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Would accept a first time traveler who is proficient with Cerner documentation and has excellent references

Shift & Scheduling: 0620 - 1900

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend requirement

Holiday Requirement: Will have to work 2/3 winter holidays and other future holidays during the contract

No on call requirements

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Floating Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
