Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• BS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Michigan license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Required Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer experience on a medical/surgical unit;

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: Occasional float to like unit

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
