Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - University of Mississippi Healthcare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have solid experience as an RN - at least 1 yr on first job. 1 or more yrs of Level 1 or VERY Large hospital experience required

Experience at a larger facility with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients, must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/onc

Preferred Skills/Experience: Travel experience with extension is preferred. chemo experience

Shift & Scheduling:

Must work at least 3 of the following 6 dates: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years

• Weekend Requirement: every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet needs of department

• Holiday Requirement: rotate in with regular staff

• Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: no

Floating Requirements: Wthin skillset, all staff float between all medsurg units. higher acuity patients would be given to core staff

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
