Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Skills: Post-op care, Orthopedic experience, TPN, PPN
• General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience/NIH assessments, Chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps, wound care
• Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips (Diltiazem), Heparin, blood products, IVF

Unit/Facility Details:

• Will consider first time travelers.
• Parking: Free

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: EOW
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• 36 or 48 hours are available.

Floating Requirements:

• Within Stanly - Med/Tele, ICU, PCU (if open), ED
• Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) – could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission
