Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Depending on practice area, must have at least one of the following: ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPFT, or an advanced practice certificate to administer moderate sedation in the Bronchoscopy Lab. - Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Unit Details: - When working with Carolina Air Care, may transport pediatric and neonatal patients from referral hospitals and perform advanced procedures per protocol, including UAC, UVC, IV insertion, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, ABGs, and blood glucose monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call 1 weekend per 6 weeks. - Weekends: 6 shifts per 6 weeks. - Must be available to work holidays if needed.

7 days maximum time off
