Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year minimum with at least 1 travel assignment completed. Must be able to start IVs, insert foley catheters, insert NG tubes. Experience needed performing EKGs, and in heparin drips

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with 1:6 patient ratio, with high turnover

Shift & Scheduling: • Weekend Hours: As needed • Call Requirements: None

Floating Requirements: Rare and unlikely – may need to float to inpatient rehab or ER to task

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required
