Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. - Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. - References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Required Credentials: - Must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Shift & Scheduling: - 7-7; Day/Night Rotate. Self-scheduling. - Weekends as needed.

Floating Requirements: - First to float. - ED/ICU for 1:1s as needed.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
