Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Required Skills / Experience: Cardiovascular, Genitourinary/Renal, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV therapy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Respiratory/Thoracic, Ventilator Management

Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation

Preferred Skills / Experience: ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, CVVHD/CRRT

Cardiac Skillset: Cardiac Skill Set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, CRRT

Triage, ICP, PA lines Experience

Unit / Facility Details: Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Special Requests: BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Can sign for 3x12s or 4x12s

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: Metro float pool includes Alton, Memorial Belleville and Memorial East.

Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

7 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
