Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 10 months within the past 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - First time travelers okay only if 3+ yrs experience. - Community Hospital Experience - Surgical intensive care unit, cardiovascular, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, iv therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, picc line management, starting and maintaining ivs, cva/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (evd), hypothermia protocol/arctic sun, icp monitoring, post neurosurgery management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, iv insulin protocols, gi surgery, chronic/acute renal failure, continuous iv sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, bipap/cpap management/maintenance, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (hfnc), interpretation of arterial blood gases (abgs), suctioning (ett, nt), infection prevention, isolation precautions/ppe, phlebotomy

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 3 years strongly preferred, must have ICU experience within the past year High acuity ICU experience. - Neuro intensive care unit, intra-aortic balloon pump (iabp), post cardiac surgery (not directly from the or), pulmonary artery line/swan ganz monitoring, sheath removal, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (tavr), accessing/managing ports, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, administration of chemotherapy

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs

Floating Requirements: Yes, DSU. All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state. travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
