Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates cannot live in the following counties: Albany County, NY, USA; Columbia County, NY, USA; Dutchess County, NY, USA; Fulton County, NY, USA; Greene County, NY; Montgomery County, NY, USA; Rensselaer County, NY, USA; Saratoga, NY, USA, Saratoga, NY; Schenectady County, NY, USA; Ulster County, NY, USA; Warren County, NY, USA; Washington County, NY.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC).

• 6 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Albany Medical Center (AMC).

Additional Details:

Special Requests: No travel teams/pairs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: RNs with level I trauma center experience tend to do best in this team. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired.

Required Credentials: Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidates email.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Rotating holidays.

Floating Requirements: Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in the following environments: neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

10 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
