Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Unit Details: Adult patients with occasional pediatrics. Covers inpatient, ER, and outpatient areas. Breathing treatments, draw ABGs, EKGs, and manage ventilators/BiPAPs; RTs assist with intubation only. Often works as the single RT due to low acuity. Uses Hamilton T-1, ResMed Astral, and F&P Airvo equipment. ER physician always available.
Shift & Scheduling: Varied shifts, primarily nights; staff may work days and nights. Schedule done in 4-week periods. Every other weekend. Holiday requirements possible. No call.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
