Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience with 36 months within the past 3 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - James Cancer Hospital and Research.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Vents. IV Starts - Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of current specialty experience for a clinical pass. - Professional Knowledge and Skills: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Phlebotomy -Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Medications and Protocols: IV insulin protocols, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips - Respiratory/Thoracic: BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management - Neurological, Renal, and Professional Topics: Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE - Additional Skills: Screen missing requirements, see special equipment
Preferred Skills/Experience: Accessing/Managing Ports, External ventricular drain (EVD)
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Shift & Scheduling: - D/N or Nights. If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. - Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: variable based on unit needs
