_*PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:*_
This position is responsible for performing nuclear medicine exams efficiently and accurately while maintaining the policies and procedures of the Nuclear Medicine Division including radiation safety techniques and quality control testing. Provides direct supervision to assigned staff while maintaining an atmosphere which maximizes employee satisfaction.
_*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*_
* Perform all duties outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Technologist job description.
* The lead will be required to fill in for staff due to scheduling conflicts when staff are absent. This will require travel.
* Assist Operations Coordinator with front office duties when required.
* Train, coach and evaluate assigned staff with proper policies and procedures and job descriptions while maintaining appropriate documentation for records.
* Ensure all emergency and safety procedures are reviewed and upheld.
* Oversee assigned clients (as Client Representative) and communicate to management general information or issues that may affect operations, client satisfaction, and staff performance and assist management in resolving those issues.
* Assist company in the development and maintenance of the policy and procedure manuals and educate staff accordingly.
* Maintains knowledge of and assists company in maintaining compliance of standards and regulations pertaining radiation safety, diagnostic imaging and accreditation.
* Serve on committees and task forces as assigned. Complete all projects in appropriate or designated timeframes.
* Assist Director with regulatory internal and external audits and inspections as required.
* Maintain knowledge and proficiency of basic PC applications for both Diagnostic Imaging and administration workstations.
* Assist company with the setup of new client sites.
* Perform other duties as required.

_*WORKING CONDITIONS:*_
Work is performed at testing centers, hospitals, clinics and/or physician offices as required. Technologists must drive to and from the testing facility in all weather conditions. Travel may be extensive. May be required to lift and carry isotope case and computer (25-60 lbs) to testing site.

_*OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:*_
There is limited radiation exposure during nuclear medicine procedures when proper protocol is followed. Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonably anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens or other infectious materials. Employees are required to use protective equipment.
_*QUALIFICATIONS:*_
* *EDUCATION:* Associates or Bachelors of Science Degree preferred. Board certification in Nuclear Medicine technology through the ARRT and/or the NMTCB required. Must maintain licensure through continuing education.
* *EXPERIENCE:* 3 - 5 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
* *REQUIREMENTS:* Valid Drivers license. Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
