Responsibilities - Parts Manager:

 

  • Oversee department personnel and ensure that they follow assigned work schedules and adhere to company policy.
  • Oversee all transactions and inventory.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of parts employees
  • Manage Parts department to achieve superior results in production, customer service and financial performance.
  • Achieve monthly sales and gross forecasts; seek and solicit new business for the department and maintain high CSI.
  • Prepare and administer an annual operating budget.
  • Oversee parts payment collection and billing.
  • Ensure that a balanced inventory is maintained.
  • Ensure that the computer system, prices and policies are kept up to date.
  • Enforce safety requirements and federal, state and local regulations that may affect operations


Qualifications/Requirements – Parts Manager:

  • Previous Parts Manager experience is a plus, but Parts Counter experience is required
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team and drive department success
  • Proficiency in automotive parts systems and software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Stable work history
