The ASU is team oriented and very collaborative keeping quality and safety as our main goal. The Manager leads by example and coaches and mentors and elevates her team members. Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position. The shift will be M-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 pm. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.


Qualifications

Education

BSN required, or obtained within 2 years of hire

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Florida Registered Nurse License

BLS

ACLS

PALS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required

Leadership skills, Should attend hospital training programs including: Leadership Institute courses, Specialty certification preferred

2-5 years prior experience in a perioperative hospital setting required

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

1- 2 years of Anesthesia Pre Op Clinic Experience (Pre Admissions or Pre Admit Testing) highly preferred
