PURPOSEThe Cycle Counter is responsible for reviewing inventory inquiries including mis-slots and quality concerns. This position will coordinate and help develop inventory policies and procedures. They will also help support inventory projects and programs to ensure accuracy and in compliance with service levels.Starting wage$19.81/HR with weekly paychecksSchedules Available4-day work schedule starting at 4:00 AM - 12:30 PMSunday, Monday, Tuesday, WednesdayJOB RESPONSIBILITIESTrack and maintain SOX compliance relative to 3rd Party audit & Company standardsSchedules and coordinates all physical inventories and cycle counts including date checksPrepares physical inventory recaps on a timely basis for distribution to managementReviews and develops inventory control procedures as appropriateIdentifies and resolves all internal shrink problemsMonitor warehouse outs including daily reports to include: Daily Inventory Change, Negative Inventory, Daily Inventory Evaluation, Building MW676 tolerance report, display MW676 tolerance report and other inventory related reports and take any necessary corrective action in order to maintain high service levelsMonitors quarterly parts and supply inventories to ensure accuracyMaintains record retention program in compliance with corporate guidelines and policiesPerform basic slotting functions as neededResearches mis-slots and quality issues, verifies pick slots and back stock verificationPerform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for locationPerforms other relevant job duties as requiredJOB REQUIREMENTSCapability of being licensed in operating powered industrial equipment Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.Experience as a selector or lift operator (strongly preferred)Understanding of safety guidelinesUnderstanding of paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventoryStrong knowledge of applicable warehouse mgmt. system and RF systemStrong math, tabulation, and reconciliation skillsAbility to recognize and read location codes, date codes and product codesStrong communication skills; both written and oral applicationStrong interpersonal skills; must be motivated and take initiativeAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with othersGood judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately availableAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
