Looking for experienced veterinary technician. Need to be able to draw blood, place catheters, administer medications, and restrain animals. Will primarily perform surgery at this clinic. Candidates should have experience with monitoring anesthesia and proper surgery room sterile procedures. Other tasks will include wrapping packs and using autoclaves, taking radiographs, filling prescription medications, running in house lab work, preparing samples to be submitted to outside labs.
This clinic will require you to be the main veterinary technician assigned to 2-3 animals each day. You will start with the intake and be the main technician to follow them through surgery and monitor them until they leave the hospital. When animals leave, you will go over detailed discharge instructions with the owner.
