A Brief Overview
The US LBM Business Process Lead for CPQ, will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our CPQ (configure, price, quote) system to support sales operations and drive business growth. This person will be responsible for building standard business processes, configuring, maintaining, and enhancing the CPQ platform, as well as providing support to users across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with CPQ software.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

What you will do
  • Configure and maintain the CPQ system to support complex product and pricing configurations, including rules, workflows, and approval processes. Ensure the system is aligned with business requirements and sales processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support to CPQ users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on system usage and best practices. Act as the primary point of contact for CPQ-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and improvements. Develop and implement solutions to optimize the CPQ platform, increase efficiency, and enhance user experience.
  • Manage integrations between the CPQ system and other business systems, such as CRM and ERP platforms. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and troubleshoot integration issues as needed.
  • Develop training materials and documentation to support CPQ users, including user guides, process documentation, and training sessions. Conduct training sessions to onboard new users and provide ongoing education.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system changes, enhancements, and new features to ensure accuracy and functionality. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support users of implemented solutions in the proper and most effective utilization of the applications. Provide transaction assists and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Analyze and catalog key business processes to serve as a reference for current and future project efforts.
  • Negotiate the introduction of new business processes with the affected organizations. Influence applicable USLBM leadership to foster the acceptance and buy-in of required process changes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of benchmark business practices utilized throughout the industry and at other benchmark organizations.
  • Measure the impact of best practice initiatives by capturing and maintaining before and after financial and operational metrics.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.


Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.


Experience Qualifications
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a CPQ Analyst or similar role, with expertise in configuring and supporting CPQ software.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.


Licenses and Certifications
  • CPQ Certification(s) preferred


Travel Requirements
  • 25% Travel, including overnight.
