USmax Corporation is seeking an Acquisition Analyst III to support the Project Manager Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier. The mission of this vital program is to provide and rapidly deliver to soldiers enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities, which provides combat overmatch and facilitates mission execution. This position is contingent upon contract award. Duties and Responsibilities: * Executes acquisition management across an entire product line. * Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases. * Prepares, configures, and staffs all Milestone documentation. * Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command. * Participates in source selection boards and conducts technical evaluations. * Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations. * Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products. * Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule. * Identifies cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs. * Leads and oversees preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manages transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment. * Develops and drafts Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents. * Works with contracting personnel to achieve desired contract outcome. * Maintains configuration control. * Prepares plans for product risk mitigation. * Performs acquisition planning tasks. * Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: * Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (i.e., Program Management, Contracting, or Logistics). * Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in acquisition career field, or PMP Certification. * Knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Product Life Cycle Management Project Team Management Acquisition and Contracting documents to include J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, and Defense Acquisition System JCIDS. Required Experience * Twelve years of relevant experience. Required Education * Bachelor's degree required. Security Clearance Requirements: * Candidates MUST have an active Secret clearance to be considered. Work Location / Schedule * Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL; at least 2 days onsite (subject to change).
