Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Coordination and Implementation of Nursing Clinical Education Programs and Clinical Competence.
  • Responsibilities includes the planning, organization and execution of education/training programs as identified through needs assessment, quality improvement, and implementation of new products and technology.
  • Assists in the effective operation through teamwork, customer service/satisfaction, quality assurance, adherence to legal and financial regulations, providing feedback and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they apply to areas of responsibility.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the education team and facility leadership on global hospital education initiatives as directed.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current OK RN License
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Nursing Education experience
