  • We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to:
  • - Effectively and efficiently decontaminate, clean, sterilize and reprocess patient equipment, surgical instruments, and medical supplies in support of all hospital areas.

    Job Requirements
  • Do not submit candidates who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment.

  • Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, Medefis profile, onboarding documents).
  • Experience:
  • - High School Diploma or equivalent
  • - 2 years experience in reprocessing
  • - Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • - Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
  • Licensure and Certification:
  • - Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM/HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
  • Reference:
  • - Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
