The Project Planner III - Wireless Network Specialized must have senior-level experience in: Planning and scheduling various project workloads. Gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports. Ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Evaluating current procedures and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. Responsibilities Major Job Activities: Provide communications and project planning. The contractor shall: Administer, manage and perform planning and implementation activities. Provide continuity for deployed United States Air Force (USAF) personnel on all projects and serve as the focal point for all communication systems planning. Convene and lead planning meetings, video conferences, and teleconferences. Coordinate with SMEs, local command, and external agencies to develop and brief project plans. Coordinate and facilitate communications installations to include frequency authorizations, civil works authorizations, logistical work, and other allied support. Ensure communications systems architecture, configuration, and integration conformity by coordinating engineering data through the base Communications Systems Integrator (CSI); Manage implementation of communication systems projects. Consolidate monthly reports of all communication projects. Coordinate and process deployed base and command-level requirements. Track requirements throughout the lifecycle include gathering, collecting, and archiving requirements. Input requirement into the Government-provided database. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Government computers and DoD approved software. Working Environment: Working environment is a climate-controlled facility. Outdoor temperatures may exceed temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. May require support during periods of non-traditional working hours including nights or weekends. Physical Activities: Must be able to lift / push / pull 40 lbs. unassisted. Qualifications Required Education / Certifications: High School Diploma or GED IAT-II Level Certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification Certified Wireless Network Associate (CWNA) Certification, or equivalent U.S. Citizen Active Secret Tier 3 Security Clearance Experience / Skills: Four (4) years of experience with military networks: Wireless routing and switching technologies; managing networks with industry standard platforms, network performance analysis, wireless network configuration and troubleshooting; establishing new circuit requirements; and documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders and as-built drawings.
