Solution Architect Summary
The Business Systems Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technical business solutions while also overseeing project execution. This role involves partnering with stakeholders to understand their needs, developing solutions, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Develop comprehensive solution designs that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
- Evaluate existing systems, technologies, and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and integration.
- Create detailed design documentation including scope, diagrams, specifications, and prototypes.
Project Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical resources to ensure alignment and address potential concerns.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct reviews and audits of project deliverables to ensure quality and completeness.
- Implement testing and validation processes to verify solution performance.
Continuous Improvement:
- Remain current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Recommend improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team to promote continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a similar role.
- Comprehension of IT infrastructure, applications, development, and / or systems integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, analytically, and creatively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Additional Details:
- Employment Type: 6 Month Contract (potential to extend or convert upon demonstrated success)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Memphis - Onsite
- Target Compensation: $60 - $65 per hour
- Employment Status: Corp-to-Corp or employment sponsorship is not being considered at this time
