CONTROLLER

Vaco Boston has partnered with our client that is seeking a Controller. They are looking for a strong leader that can make an impact in this role. Responsibilities:Partner with leadership on all financial and operational management including budgeting and accounting.Establishes and improves internal control systems.Leads preparation of financial statements and operating reports ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP.Oversees processing of transactions and accounting data ensuring legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions. Works with external audit team.Manages annual audit.Responsible for monthly reporting to leadership.Assesses organizational performance against budgets with management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MBA and CPA preferred5-10 years of experience as a Controller.Supervisory experience. 4 direct reports.Strong cost accounting skillsStrong leadership skillsVerbal/written communication skills
