Vaco is actively seeking a Senior Product Development Architect for a direct-hire position with our client in St. Louis.  This is a permanent opportunity to join a highly respected national organization that is a proven leader in their field!Architect SummaryThe Senior Architect will display proven expertise developing cross-platform applications that address both functional and non-functional requirements within an Agile, and AWS, environment.  Responsibilities Include:Provide technical guidance and direction, ensuring architectural best-practices are focused on scalability, performance, security, and overall business objectives.Partner with cross-functional teams, technical resources, vendor partners, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Release Trains, and business stakeholders to ensure architectural decisions align with goals and priorities.Define and prioritize architectural epics and features within a comprehensive system architecture design.Articulate architectural decisions and strategies to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring clarity and alignment. Evaluate and enhance architectural processes, tools, methodologies, and technologies to improve the development efficiency and effectiveness.Mentor technical team members, fostering growth and providing opportunities career development.Experience & Qualifications:10 years of experience in software architecture with a focus on large-scale enterprise and cloud-centric applications. Experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices.Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization.Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks. Experience with cloud-based architectures and technologies, with a strong desire towards AWS. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Certification in SAFe or other Agile methodologies is highly preferred.
