Employee will perform as a Network Computer System Administrator I and is directly responsible for the execution of all IC3NS support for the CTC mission at JRTC and Fort Johnson under the Joint Readiness Training Center Support Contract (JRTC-SC). The Network Administrator will have an expert understanding of the IC3NS system to include tower sites, mobile platforms, networking equipment, software, and end-user equipment, DoD IA/RMF maintenance and requirements, and software in physical and virtual environments. Performance measures: • Provide administration of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to, Radio Access Network (RAN) and Element Management System (RAN EMS). • Troubleshoot all IC3NS network related issues, provide onsite support to IC3NS contact team to identify and resolve issues. • Provide customer support to troubleshoot issues that arise during the use of the system by BLUFOR, OPFOR, Role Players, OCTs, and other users of the IC3NS network. • Perform data collection for performance evaluation, while being responsible for connectivity of the infrastructure for rotational training. • Create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs; ensure the functionality of links. • Identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements and administer resources related to the enterprise network. • Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions, including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions. • Research applicable standards and requirements documents to assure network compliance. • Plan for and provide reasonable responsiveness in terms of network performance (e.g., availability, reliability, and throughput). • Prepare activity and progress reports for the Government regarding network performance initiatives. • Enforce system access, operation, maintenance, and disposition requirements. • Maintain industry certification in accordance with DOD 8570.01-M and DODD 8140.01 for IAT Level II.
